A miniature porcelain vase and cover. Cover with elaborate applied gilt metal and enamelled Siamese-style finial. The vase decorated with enamel cartouches and foliage on dark green ground.
Provenance
According to a note in Queen Mary's hand: 'Pair of miniature Siamese pottery vases & covers given to the [Dolls'] House by the mother of Prince Chula Chakrabangra [sic.] of Siam. Placed in the library 1/6/33'. One of a pair with RCIN 230756.
