Photograph of Louise, Queen of Denmark (1817-98), with two of her daughters in front of a doorway at Sandringham. The Queen is seated in the centre of the group with her body turned three-quarters to the left and her head facing the viewer. Princess Thyra of Denmark (1853-1933) and the Princess of Wales (1844-1925), later Queen Alexandra, are standing behind her on the left and right respectively. Both are facing the viewer.
Provenance
From an album belonging to Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge. The album was given to HM Queen Elizabeth II by the Duchess of Beaufort, and placed in the Photograph Collection on June 7th 1976.
