Photograph of a walkabout by Queen Mary and King George V in Hull, walking past a line of men in long coats, some wearing naval caps, who were seamen or fishermen. The men were patients attached to the Naval Hospital, at Hull Infirmary Hospital on Argyll Road. Some of the men had been in ships that were torpedoed by the German Navy, aiming to disrupt food supplies to Britain.
