Photograph of King George V (1865-1936) and President Raymond Poincare (1860-1934) in a landau, with two postillions sitting behind, travelling through Paris. The King is in full-dress uniform of the Admiral of the Fleet, and is saluting to acknowledge the well-wishers. The state visit to France took place between 21st and 24th April 1914, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Entente Cordiale between Britain and France. One of 3 photographs mounted together on an album page (album: 2303705).
