Photographed of the ruined Dilkusha Kothi Palace, a hunting lodge in Lucknow built about 1800 for the Nawab of Oudh that was damaged during the Siege of Lucknow. The house was said to be similar in design to another country house in England called Seaton Delaval Hall. The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Lucknow over two days, 26-28 December and visited many of the sights associated with the Indian Uprising and Siege of Lucknow of 1857.
