A photograph taken during the Reception of Indian Princes in Bombay, now Mumbai. The photograph shows British officials and Indian Princes or high-ranking dignitaries travelling in a carriage, with Indian attendants and a man in tropical white military uniform walking by. This was on the occasion of a reception for the Prince and Princess of Wales (later King George V and Queen Mary) and included the Maharaja of Kolhapur; Rao of Cutch, Nawab of Junagadh, Jam of Navanagar, Thakur Sahib of Bhavnagar, Raja Sahib of Dhrangadhra, Raja of Rajpipla, Nawab of Cambay, Rana of Porbandar., Thakur Sahib of Gondal.
