A photograph showing the interior of King George V (1865-1936) when the Prince of Wales's Sitting Room at Marlborough House. The photograph shows the Prince's writing desks with books, correspondence letters and desk objects placed on top, a settee, vase of flowers and other pots with plants, a screen with many carte-des-visite photographs of members of the Royal Family and associates, a portrait painting of Princess Mary, Princess of Wales in between two doorways with curtains. There is a birdcage in front of the right doorway and a cabinet and framed photographs on the wall visible through the left doorway.
