A photograph showing the interior of the entrance to Cambridge Cottage, Kew, Richmond, a former Royal residence presented by George III to his son, the Duke of Cambridge, the building was remodelled in 1840 and houses Kew’s extensive private art collection. The photograph shows a hallway entrance with furniture and a fireplace with two busts in the foreground, a double doorway with a grandfather clock, stairs and leather chair in the background. There are buckets hanging from coat hooks on either side of the walls of the entrance.
