Photograph of a ship named by Queen Mary as (RMS) Empress of India, docked at Vancouver. It was an ocean-liner built in 1890/1 in Barrow-in-Furness for Canadian Pacific Steamships. King George V (1865-1936) and Queen Mary (1867-1953) when Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York visited many parts of Canada, during the Dominions Tour of 1901, and they would have seen the ship when visiting Vancouver.
