Photograph of Tyninghame House in East Lothian, seen from the bottom of the garden with mature trees in the foreground. The house was extensively rebuilt in the early 19th century by William Burn, in the Scottish baronial style and gardens developed during the 19th century by the Earl of Haddington; the family lived here until 1986. The house is now private but the gardens are occasionally open to the public. Queen Mary when Princess of Wales visited the house on 26th September 1900.
