Photograph of the Drawing Room in Castle Bromwich Hall, in Birmingham, with tapestries lining the walls, comfortably furnished with sofas and ornaments. The mansion was built in 1599 and the family home of the Earl and Countess of Bradford and their seven children until 1936. The Duke and Duchess of York visited Castle Bromwich in September 1894. The Countess of Bradford was later Lady of the Bedchamber to Queen Mary in 1901.
