Photograph of Clumber Park from the south. The House stands in the background in front of which is a large expanse of water with a small sailing boat on the water. In the centre of the building is a porch area consisting of seven arches supported by double columns.Two large wings flank the main house.
Clumber Park is situated in Nottinghamshire and was owned by the Dukes of Newcastle. The 2nd Duke of Newcastle altered the house in the early 1760's. The house was re-built by the 7th Duke of Newcastle in 1780 following a fire. -
