Photograph of Edward VIII (1894-1972), when Prince Edward of York, King George VI (1895-1952), when Prince Albert of York and the Princess Royal (1897-1965), when Princess Mary photographed within the grounds of Sandringham House in Norfolk. The children are greeted by an unidentified woman under the shade of a large tree that stands on the right of the photograph. Sandringham was the country residence of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra.
