This fan-shaped box formed part of Queen Mary’s collection. The body of the box is of bloodstone while the lid, in the shape of a fan, is of alternate tooled gold and pink guilloché enamelled stripes, edged with brilliant diamonds. The handle of the fan forms the hinge and is set with pearls, while the pushpiece is a cabochon moonstone. Mark of Michael Perchin; FABERGÉ in Cyrillic; gold mark of 56 zolotniks (1896-1908)
