Description

Oval section tapering dark blue Battersea enamel étui with gilt metal hinge, scalloped rim and tooled edge mounts; painted on cover and sides with landscape scenes, classical ruins on riverbank; reserved by raised white enamel scrolls. Contains two leaf ivory tablet and pencil end.
