Rectangular tortoiseshell casket of lobed outline with brass hinges, top piqué with gold posé and foules point and inlaid with engraved mother of pearl, with scene of Aeneas and Anchises escaping from Troy. Box opens to reveal inner lid in form of shallow tray with CR cypher beneath a crown, within a wreath, all in silver.
