Cartouche-shaped tortoiseshell snuff box inlaid with engraved mother of pearl, slightly raised on cover, depicting two coloured gold piqué posé figures among mother of pearl ruins. Base with an engraved mother of pearl vignette of cupid, with piqué posé details; gilt-metal rim.
