An oval tortoiseshell snuff box with silver rim mounts, shaped thumb piece and projecting moulded top edge, the top and base piqué with gold, foules point and clouté d'or, with foliate scrolls and a flowerhead.

One of a group of boxes left to Queen Mary, by Lady Mount Stephen in 1933.
