The Queen’s third child, Prince Andrew, was born on 19 February 1960 at Buckingham Palace, and was christened on 8 April. He was the first child to be born to a reigning monarch for 103 years. Prince Andrew was created The Duke of York shortly before his marriage in July 1986.
