Photograph of the Throne Room in Windsor Castle. At the far end of the room is the Travancore Throne and footstool which stands underneath a canopy. On the left wall hangs a portrait of King George IV wearing Garter robes by Sir Thomas Lawrence alongside a group portrait painting.
In 1876 Wilson had asked Queen Victoria for permission to photograph the State Apartments at Windsor Castle.Provenance
