He is holding a long curved sword in his right hand. An attendant is standing behind him holding a feather fan in his right hand. There is a patterned cloth and a floral arrangement on the small table to the right.
This is one of a series of photographs from a published volume documenting the tour the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, made of India in 1875-76.Provenance
