Carte-de-visite portrait of the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, taken in Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul) at the end of his tour of the Middle East in 1862. The carte-de-visite is part of an album of cartes of the Prince of Wales, compiled over several years. The card is inserted into a window mount in the album. The studio name is printed beneath the image on the card mount and the reverse of the carte gives the studio name in full as 'Abdullah Freres, Photographes de S. M. I. Le Sultan, Pera, Constantinople'.
