Photograph of a three-quarter length portrait of Kanwar Bikram Singh Bahadur, setaed and facing the viewer. He wears a jacket featuring heavy decorative embroidery which is secured at the waist with a large belt. He also wears the Companion of the Order of the Star of India.
Kanwar Bikram Singh Bahadur was awarded the Order of the Star of India during the Imperial Assemblage of 1877. He was also awarded the Mutiny Medal, which he wears around his neck, for his part in helping to suppress the Indian Uprising of 1857.Provenance
