Description

A bronze plaque depicting an arched doorway with three men standing in front, Nicholas Breakspear, Henry II and Thomas Becket to commemorate the State of Merton 1236, mounted onto a wooden board with an inscription 'in celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II and Her Majesty's visit to Merton on the 15th of May 2012'.

Presented to Queen Elizabeth II by Cllr Stephen Alambritis, Leader of the Council, London Borough of Merton during her official visit to the London Boroughs of Bromley, Merton and Richmond on the 15th May 2012 to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee
