Albumen print | 28.4 x 17.0 cm (sight) | RCIN 2105745
-
Photograph of Queen Victoria seated in three-quarters left position wearing a lace headdress with a coronet and holds a fan in her left hand. She is seated in a chair which stands upon a carpeted dais. Although this portrait of the Queen was used as the official Diamond Jubilee portrait, it was in fact taken four years earlier on the occasion of the marriage of the Duke of York (the future King George V) to Princess Mary of Teck.
