Photograph of the Imperial Stables, Peterhof. The long stable building is in the Gothic style with high arched windows. To the left and in the foreground there is a road lined by a hedge. Two carriages are driving down the road to the left and there is a lamppost at the corner. The Imperial Stables were designed by the architect Nicholas Benois and built between 1847 and 1852. The red brick design was inspired by Hampton Court Palace.
