Photograph of a statue of a nude woman in the garden of the Farm Palace at Peterhof. The woman has her head tilted back and her arms raised above her head. The statue is surrounded by flowers and plants and there is a trellis behind which is partially covered by a climbing plant. The Farm Palace was built to compliment the nearby Cottage Palace and originally housed staff and animals. Gradually the building developed into a modest palace and became the main residence used by Tsar Alexander II at Peterhof.
