Photograph of the interior of the Grand Kremlin Palace. There are sofas and chairs arranged in small groups around the room, with a four-sided sofa in the centre. There is a chandelier above it. The Kremlin is a fortified complex of palaces and cathedrals in Moscow. The Grand Kremlin Palace is the largest building in the Kremlin and was built between 1837 and 1849.

Probably presented to the Prince of Wales, later Edward VII, and the Princess of Wales, later Queen Alexandra, following their visit to Russia for the wedding celebrations of Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh and Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna in 1874
