Purple velvet portfolio containing 21 loose mounted photographs of exterior and, mainly, interior views of the Grand Kremlin Palace, including the five reception rooms named after the Russian Orders, interiors of the Palace of the Facets and of the Terem Palace. The title, in Russian, is embossed in gold on the cover.

Probably presented to the Prince of Wales, later Edward VII, and the Princess of Wales, later Queen Alexandra, following their visit to Russia for the wedding celebrations of Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh and Grand Duchess Maria Alexandrovna in 1874
