Colonel Harry Legge (1852-1924), a nurse and a little girl, possibly Princess Marie Alexandra of Baden (1902-44), stand by a well in the foreground. where Queen Alexandra and her sister Empress Maria Feodorovna lived here during the summer. Colonel Legge was a member of the English royal household, as well as a friend.
