Photograph of Hvidøre House, viewed from the Øresund (sea), with the sea and trees in the foreground. Queen Alexandra and the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna purchased the house in 1906 as a summer residence. After 1917 the Empress lived here permanently under her death in 1928.
