Photograph of Queen Alexandra's Bedroom looking towards the Bathrom, with half-tester bed; Hvidøre House, Klampenborg, Denmark. The Queen and her sister the Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna acquired the house in 1906, after their father King Christian IX died, for a summer residence. The Empress lived here permanently after 1917 until her death. Much of the furniture was supplied by the British furniture company Waring and Gillow.
