Photograph of the 1844 Room on the Belgian Floor, Buckingham Palace. There is an assortment of furniture, tables, small figurines. On either sides of the marble fireplace are four portraits including (from top left (clockwise): Duke Ernest of Württemberg (RCIN 406679), Antoine, Duc de Montpensier (RCIN 406680), Wilhelm I, Prince of Prussia (RCIN 404464), Ernest II Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (RCIN 406678). The portrait over the door is that of Alexandrine, Duchess of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha (1820-1904) by William Cordon (RCIN 406681) and the full length portrait on the opposite wall is of Nicholas I of Russia, after Kruger (RCIN 406751).
