Autochrome, 7" x 9½", of King George V (1865-1936) who stands on the right, wearing the Admiral of the Fleet uniform. On the left stands the Prince of Wales (1894-1972), later King Edward VIII, Duke of Windsor, wearing the uniform of Lieutenant of the Royal Navy. Taken in Buckingham Palace.

The first photograph depicts the image laterally reversed. The second photograph depicts the image as it would have been viewed in tools like a diascope, as seen in RCIN 2946200. Photograph taken to be used in a French publication, L'Illustration.
