A marble portrait bust of Queen Victoria wearing State Robes and the Imperial State Crown.
Thomas Earle came from a family of sculptors and stonemasons. He trained and worked as modeller and designer in the workshop of Francis Chantrey. He focused in the production of portrait busts and he was a regular exhibitor at the Royal Academy between 1834 and 1873.Provenance
Exhibited at the London International Exhibition in 1862.
