Photograph taken on the day of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II showing some of the Commonwealth contingents marching down the Mall in the return procession from the Abbey to Buckingham Palace. The Commonwealth contingents numbered 2,500 officers and men representing many countries, including Canada, Pakistan and Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon).
