-
A large flared cylindrical stoneware commemorative vase decorated in silver or platinum glaze with scattered crowns and ER cypher on one side and on other with line drawn stylised cityscape.
Provenance
Presented to Queen Elizabeth II on the occasion of the state visit to Sweden by the Kooperativa Förbundet, June 1956.
Possibly designed by Stig Lindberg (1916-82), who produced other works with silver inserts at this time. This shape appears to be Grazia, which was issued with a variety of decoration. -
