Description

A stool made from dark hardwood, with a circular seat and three-legs, the front section of the base in carved in the shape of a stylised head.

Provenance

Presented to HM King Charles III when Prince of Wales by The President of Sierra Leone, Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, 2006. It was the prince’s first visit to the country, and the first visit by a Member of the British Royal Family since Queen Elizabeth II’s tour in 1961.
