Belt hook late eighteenth to nineteenth century

In the traditional archaic belt-hook form, with an arched shaft and turned-over dragon’s head with carved horns and mane, facing a pup along the top rendered in openwork, and with an oval button carved in relief on the underside. It has a plain white shaft of violet tint, tapering, rounded and pointed at the end, and a round button.
