This epigram was copied from The Sun newspaper, which was published between 1893 and 1906. (The modern newspaper of the same name was first published in 1964.) It is about three of the doctors who had care of George III during his illness: Robert Darling Willis (1760-1821), William Heberden the Younger (1767-1845), and Matthew Baillie (1761-1823). "You may send, if ought should ail ye To Willis, Heberden, or Baillie; All exceedingly skillful men; Willis, Baillie, Heberden; But doubtful which more sure to kill is, Baillie, Heberden, or Willis ".
