Description

A history of the German speaking world in 21 volumes, published 1633-1738. It was founded by the publisher and engraver Matthias Merian, and acted as a continuation of Johann Ludwig Gottfried’s Historische Chronik, a world chronicle from the beginning of the world to 1619.
