Description

José Antonio Villaseñor y Sanchez was an eighteenth century Mexican geographer and mathematician. He served as the official geographer of New Spain (now Mexico) and in the 1740s undertook an estimate of the population of the country. This book contains his published results as well as a description of Mexico in the middle of the eighteenth century.
