This copy is quite extensively annotated, particularly volumes 1 and 3, in a very similar hand to that annotating 1084734 (Add B 7.6).

Book-plate trimmed and glued to marbled paper attached to back of right board, presumably during restoration. Arms identical to those used on the binding, but with a bar and smaller crown to signify Prince of Wales.

Binding Details
Contemporary dark brown calf, both sides re-backed onto restored spine of brown goat.

On both boards, an outer border consisting of a single gold-tooled fillet line, surmounted by two double fillet blind-tooled lines; inner border of the same, but gold-tooled in each corner a relatively large vase or ring with protruding vines and flowers; arms of James I gold-tooled in centre, surrounded by the garter and surmounted by a crown; between the arms and the garter, the date (?): ‘16011’.

Spine divided into five compartments by raised bands, with blind-tooled fillet line to either side. In the second compartment, red leather label with gold-tooled roll border in a triangular pattern and the title, gold-tooled: 'SELDON ON TITHES'. The armorial tool is unusual for having the date (?) between the garter and arms, of '16011'. This same tool is however used on RCIN 1071706 (Add B 12.7).
