On 3 October 1835 the young Princess Victoria, later Queen Victoria, visited Canterbury Cathedral with her aunt Louise, Queen of the Belgians. In her journal she recorded her impressions of the building and the monuments that she saw. These included the tomb of Edward the Black Prince, photographs of which are in this album produced by Raphael Tuck & Sons in 1935.
