Description

Sèvres soft-paste porcelain broth basin and cover. White ground, painted with scattered polychrome sprigs (roses, cornflowers, convolvulus, etc.) and with gilded decoration. Double-twisted-branch handles, which are in white heightened in blue and gold, are fitted to the basin. Its rounded cover of undulating outline has a raised laurel branch handle with a brown stem, gilded berries and green leaves.
