This ‘Coronation Shakespeare’ was published in 1953 by the Nonesuch Press, and presented to Queen Elizabeth II by Sir Francis Meynell, the press’s founder. It was based upon the 1929-33 edition of Shakespeare published by Herbert Farjeon, the brother of the well-known children’s writer Eleanor.
