Strabo’s Geographica is significant geographical chronicles to survive from the ancient world. Written in either the first century BC or AD, the work consists of 17 books and contains an account of the world as known to the Greeks and Romans. It includes much useful information on how the classical world viewed geographical phenomena, ethnography and natural history.
