Description

Sir Jagatjit Singh (r. 1877-1947) was maharaja of the princely state of Kapurthala and travelled extensively during his life. He hosted Edward, Prince of Wales, during his Royal Tour of India in 1921-1922 and later served as the Indian Representative to the League of Nations General Assembly in Geneva in 1925, 1927, and 1929. He published this diary of his 1929 round the world tour the following year.
