Manuscript music score. 248 p. of music. Bound in blue velvet with clasps and metal decorations.
While studying in Bonn, Prince Albert took lessons in composition. This is a collection of his compositions to texts by his brother Ernst II, Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha) and other German poets. They are arranged as folk songs which was very much the fashion of the day.Provenance
