Mary Ann Rocque was the wife of the famed cartographer John Rocque and was a prominent mapmaker in her own right.
Following her husband’s death in 1762, Mary Ann took over the business and produced several significant maps. This atlas, published in 1765, illustrates 30 North American forts and other locations that played important roles in the Seven Years’ War (also known as the French and Indian War).
